Pomegranate Pomace Drying Machine

Pomegranate pomace is the main byproduct of pomegranate juice processing, with a moisture content of up to 75% -82%, and rich in sugar, pectin, and other components. It has the characteristics of high viscosity, easy adhesion, and difficult drying. In response to these characteristics, our company has launched a pomegranate pomace hot air drying production line, which adopts hot air drying technology and special anti sticking design. It can dry wet pomace to a moisture content of less than 12% in one go, which is convenient for subsequent storage, transportation, and resource utilization

After pre-treatment, the wet pomegranate pomegranates are evenly fed into the mesh belt dryer through the feeding system. The equipment adopts a multi-layer mesh belt hot air drying method - the material moves from the feeding end to the discharging end, and the hot air is blown from the discharging end to the feeding end in opposite directions, resulting in higher heat and mass transfer efficiency

In the drying room, the fruit residue circulates with the mesh belt in a uniform dispersion state, and comes into full contact with high-temperature hot air, causing rapid evaporation of moisture. In response to the high sugar content and easy wall sticking characteristics of pomegranate pomace, anti sticking mesh belts are installed in the drying room to effectively prevent material adhesion and clumping

The dried finished product is discharged from the discharge end
