The ginger cleaning and drying production line includes processes such as bubble cleaning, high-pressure spraying, clean water rinsing, air drying and dehydration, intelligent drying, and selection and grading.

The ginger cleaning and drying production line includes processes such as bubble cleaning, high-pressure spraying, clean water rinsing, air drying and dehydration, intelligent drying, and selection and grading. The entire production line is made of food grade SUS304 stainless steel, which can be flexibly customized according to the variety of ginger (such as noodle ginger, small yellow ginger) and the final use (medicinal, edible, deep processing)

Core process flow

The production line usually consists of three modules: pre-treatment cleaning section, cutting/peeling section (optional), and dehydration and drying section:

First paragraph: Multi level cleaning system

Loading and pre washing: A lifting machine combined with a spray device is used to preliminarily remove large pieces of soil on the surface, and a sorting platform is equipped to remove rotten and spoiled raw materials.

High pressure bubble cleaning: This is the cleaning core. By using a high-pressure fan to generate strong bubbles, ginger is rolled in the water, achieving all-round and no dead angle cleaning, effectively separating sediment in the gaps, and avoiding mechanical hard damage that may cause the ginger body to break.

High pressure spray rinsing: A high-pressure spray device is installed above the conveyor belt to use circulating water or purified water for final rinsing of ginger, ensuring a smooth surface.

Second paragraph: Deep processing and pretreatment (optional)

Peeling/Slicing: According to customer needs, a cleaning and peeling machine with a brush for peeling can be configured, or a precise slicing machine that can cut ginger into evenly thin slices of 0.5-5mm. If producing ginger powder, a grinding machine is also required.

Qingqing color protection: For sliced ginger slices, a blanching and withering unit is equipped to passivate the activity of biological enzymes, prevent oxidation and discoloration, and ensure that the dried ginger slices have a bright color (light yellow or golden yellow).

Third paragraph: Dehydration and drying system

Drying and draining: Using a high pressure air dryer or fan, dry the surface of ginger slices with visible water to shorten the subsequent drying time.

Multi layer mesh belt drying: adopting an automatic multi-layer flipping mesh belt structure. The raw materials are uniformly heated under hot air circulation, without sticking or clumping throughout the process. By controlling temperature and humidity through PLC, multi-stage drying is carried out in low-temperature zone, constant speed zone, and reduced speed zone, which can maximize the preservation of the spicy taste and nutritional components of ginger
