Apricot Drying Production Line

Apricot picking is concentrated, with a shelf life of only 2-3 days. If not processed in a timely manner, it is highly susceptible to rotting and spoilage. The traditional natural drying method is greatly affected by weather, with a drying cycle of about 15 days, and is prone to problems such as blackening, mold and deterioration.

It adopts multi-layer belt circulation flipping drying technology to achieve uniform dehydration through hot air penetrating the material layer, resulting in dried apricots with a natural golden color, high sweetness, and minimal nutrient loss, greatly improving the quality level and market value of dried apricots.

Core equipment: Multi layer mesh belt hot air dryer

Adopting a multi-layer stainless steel mesh belt structure, the material moves back and forth on the mesh belt, and hot air is evenly transported to each layer through air ducts, achieving a drying effect of layer by layer flipping and counter current heat exchange.

working principle

The production line adopts multi-layer hot air circulation drying technology. The materials are evenly laid on the top mesh belt from the feeding end, moving forward with the mesh belt and falling layer by layer to the lower mesh belt, forming a circular and reciprocating path.

After being generated by the hot air stove, the hot air is sent to the bottom of the dryer by the blower. It first passes through the bottom mesh belt and exchanges heat with the material to be discharged, taking away some of the moisture before continuing upwards. It passes through each layer of mesh belt layer by layer and comes into contact with the wetter material in the upper layer. Finally, it reaches the top layer and exchanges heat with the wettest material before being discharged.

This circulating wind design enables the cascading utilization of thermal energy, significantly reducing energy consumption. At the same time, the material is fully exposed to hot air during the layer by layer flipping process, resulting in more uniform drying.

Technical Features

1. Specially designed for apricot materials

In response to the high sugar content and easy adhesion of apricots, the mesh belt is made of stainless steel 304 material. There are support rods below the mesh belt and baffles above the chain to prevent materials from falling into the track, ensuring smooth operation.

2. Precise temperature and humidity control

Adopting a PLC fully automatic control system, it can monitor and adjust the temperature and humidity in the drying room in real time, operate according to the preset drying process curve, and ensure stable quality of each batch of dried apricots.
