Pineapple peel dryer is an automated drying equipment designed to quickly dehydrate pineapple slices. The principle of hot air drying allows the moisture in pineapple slices to be quickly removed.
The large-scale mesh belt dryer is a continuous drying equipment, which is very suitable for large-scale and continuous dehydration processing of agricultural products, food, medicinal materials and other materials.
Mesh belt: usually woven from stainless steel wire, galvanized iron wire, or polyester fiber, it has the characteristics of high temperature resistance and corrosion resistance. The mesh size (hole size) of the mesh belt can be selected according to the size and characteristics of the material to prevent material leakage.
Drive device: including motor, reducer, sprocket chain, etc., providing smooth power for the mesh belt and continuously adjusting the running speed of the mesh belt, thereby accurately controlling the residence time (drying time) of the material in the dryer.
Tensioning device: usually installed at the end of the driven wheel, used to adjust the tension of the mesh belt to prevent it from slipping or deviating.
Roller/support device: supports the weight of the mesh belt and materials, ensuring smooth operation of the mesh belt and preventing excessive sagging.
2. Drying box (main structure)
This is a sealed space for the drying process of materials.
Box frame: usually made of steel and insulation board, requiring a sturdy structure that can withstand its own weight and material load.
Insulation layer: The box wall panel is filled with high-quality insulation materials such as rock wool and polyurethane, and wrapped with stainless steel or color steel plates. The function is to minimize heat loss, improve thermal efficiency, maintain stable temperature inside the box, and improve the working environment in the workshop.
3. Hot air system (cardiac department)
Responsible for providing the heat and air flow required for drying is the core of energy consumption.
Heat source (heating device): provides a source of heat. Common forms include:
Electric heating: clean and precise temperature control, but high operating costs.
Steam heat exchanger: uses the steam generated by the boiler to heat the air through a radiator, with low operating costs and requiring a matching boiler.
Gas/oil fired hot air stove: Directly burning gas or diesel to produce clean hot air, with high thermal efficiency, is a widely used economic solution.
Biomass hot blast stove: using wood chips, straw and other fuels, low cost, environmentally friendly, but requires ash treatment.
Heat pump: With an extremely high coefficient of performance (COP) and significant energy-saving effects, it requires a large initial investment and is more suitable for medium to low temperature drying.
