Alfalfa grass is known as the "king of forage", rich in protein and various vitamins, and is a high-quality roughage for livestock such as cows. However, the harvesting season of alfalfa coincides with the rainy season, which has a long natural drying cycle and is greatly affected by weather. If not dried in time, it is prone to mold and deterioration, leading to protein loss and quality decline.
Nanchong Shouchuang Technology has been focusing on the research and development of agricultural product drying equipment for more than 20 years. In response to the high water content and easy loss of nutrients of alfalfa, a series of products for alfalfa hot air drying production line have been launched.
Working Principle
The production line adopts hot air penetration drying technology. Fresh alfalfa is cut into sections and transported by a conveyor belt to the top mesh belt, where it is evenly spread out by a spreader. The material moves forward with the mesh belt and falls and flips layer by layer between the 4-5 layers of mesh belt, ensuring that each piece of alfalfa can fully contact the hot air.
The hot air system generates clean hot air at 40-120 ℃, which is sent to the bottom of the drying oven by a fan. It penetrates the mesh belt and material layer layer by layer from bottom to top, takes away moisture, and is discharged from the top. Diversified heat sources can be used, including coal, biomass, natural gas, and other fuels. The hot air is clean and pollution-free, and the nutritional components of alfalfa grass are fully preserved.

1. Specially designed for grass to preserve nutrition
Alfalfa grass has a high protein content, and high drying temperatures can easily lead to protein denaturation and nutrient loss. The equipment adopts an adjustable temperature control of 40-100 ℃, and can set the optimal drying curve according to different moisture contents to fully retain the nutritional components of alfalfa grass.

Fully automatic operation from feeding to discharging, PLC one click operation, temperature, humidity, and mesh belt speed can be infinitely controlled, and one person can supervise multiple devices, greatly reducing labor costs.

The equipment overcomes the weaknesses of traditional drying equipment, such as long time consumption, low efficiency, and high energy consumption. The coal consumption is more than 20% lower than that of the same hot blast stove, and the smoke and dust emissions meet the national first-class environmental protection requirements, with a drying rate of over 95%.
4. Uniform drying and stable quality
The material is flipped multiple times between multiple layers of mesh belts, combined with the patented technology of cross segmented air supply, to ensure that each batch of alfalfa grass is dried evenly and uniformly, with a green color and fragrant aroma, and the quality fully meets export requirements.
